FlamenKora brings together improvised trumpet, flamenco guitar, and the traditional mandika kora and vocals of Senegal in a richly textured musical conversation. Led by trumpeter Volker Goetze and featuring master of Mande music Ali Boulo Santo Cissoko alongside flamenco guitarist Roberto Monteiro, the trio weaves West African Mande, Spanish, and jazz compositions into an evocative timeless sound that unites ancient pathways between continents.
